Question: What is a “virtual conference”?
Answer: The Holistic Health Virtual Conference is just like a physical conference—the experts in the world of holistic health will be gathered in one place to present the latest information to an audience of people like you.
However, rather than traveling to a conference, the Holistic Health Virtual Conference comes to you!
You’ll be able to listen to the speakers’ presentations live by phone or by webcast, and afterward you’ll have access to MP3 recordings. You can also view or download handouts provided by the speakers. Deluxe registrants will also receive printed versions of the handouts along with audio CDs of all the presentations.
And there will be forums in which you can discuss the presentations with your peers—just like at a physical conference!
Question: Do I have to attend all the sessions?
Answer: No, you do not have to attend all the sessions. You can pick and choose which sessions you’d like to attend live, and you can listen to session recordings after the presentations.
Question: Do I need special software to attend the conference?
Answer: No, you do not need special software to attend the conference. However, some of the interactive elements, such as listening live on the web, are built with Flash. We recommend that you have Flash installed and updated on your computer (most computers do this automatically).
Question: What options do I have for listening live?
Answer: You will have the choice of either dialing in via telephone, the way you would on a conference call, or you can listen live on the web. Listening on the web is very easy as long as you have a reasonably fast Internet connection and the latest version of Flash installed on your computer—all you will have to do is “press play”.
Question: Do I need to be web savvy to attend the conference?
Answer: While we have made every effort to make your conference experience as easy as possible, please keep in mind that you will be using your computer and an Internet connection to access most of the conference materials.
If you are comfortable using your computer and navigating the Internet, then you should be comfortable attending the Holistic Health Virtual Conference. If you are not comfortable using your computer and navigating the Internet, then we do not recommend registering for this conference.
Question: How long will the presentation recordings and other materials be available on the conference website?
Answer: The presentation recordings and other materials will remain on the website for 60 days following the conference. However, you must be registered for the conference in order to have access to the website.
Question: What is the cancellation policy?
Answer: Cancellations will be accepted through January 19th. A full refund less an administrative fee of $25 will be issued. No cancellations or refunds will be accepted after January 19th.
Question: Are Continuing Education Credits available for professionals attending the conference?
Answer: We are not able to offer Continuing Education Credits at this time.
Question: Are there scholarships available?
Answer: We are not able to offer scholarships at this time.
Question: What is the difference between Standard Registration and Deluxe Registration?
Answer: In addition to all the benefits of the Standard Registration Package, the Deluxe Registration Package also includes a conference binder with an audio CD set and printed materials from all of the conference presentations. The CDs and printed materials will be mailed to Deluxe Registrants 6-8 weeks after the close of the conference.
Question: I don’t want to attend the live sessions, I just want to download the handouts and recordings. Is there a registration option for this?
Answer: The registration fees are the same whether or not you attend the live sessions. If you’d like to get the session MP3s and handouts, please register under the Standard Package. If you’d like to get audio CDs and printed materials, please register under the Deluxe Package.
Question: Will I be able to buy the audio CDs and printed materials at a later date?
Answer: We will not be selling the audio CDs and printed materials after the event. If you would like to receive the CDs and printed materials, please register under the Deluxe Package.
Question: May I buy just the CDs and transcripts without registering?
Answer: We will not be selling the CDs and printed materials separately. If you would like to receive CDs and printed materials, please register under the Deluxe Package.
Question: What are the shipping and handling charges on the Deluxe Registration?
Answer: Shipping charges on the Deluxe Registration Package are as follows:
Delivery in the US: $14.75
Delivery in Canada: $44.75*
Delivery to all other countries: $89.75* (*Please note this cost is estimated, and actual cost of shipping may be higher. We will contact you before processing any additional charges.)
A note about shipping: The Deluxe Registration option includes a sizable Conference Binder that contains CD recordings of all sessions, and printed materials from each session. Shipping and handling charges include postage, packaging, and fulfillment center costs. We have made every effort to keep shipping and handling prices as low as possible.
